There's some speculation that the 2011-2012 NBA season may not tip off until Christmas Day. If that's the case, this colorway of the LeBron 9 may actually end up being the first we see LeBron wear on the court for the Miami Heat this year. Similar to last year's LeBron 8 V/2 Christmas make-up and the LeBron 7 "Big Apple" sample, the shoe features a bright red synthetic upper with tonal textile wings on the side panels. Hits of white appear on the Swoosh logos, tongue signature, heel tab and Max Air unit, while green fills in the laces and pull-tab. A translucent rubber outsole provides the finishing touch below.
No word on an exact release date just yet, but mid-to-late December would be a good guess. We'll keep you posted here at Sole Collector.
