Much like the recently released "Cavs" Air Jordan Retro 4, the Hardwood Classics Nike LeBron series tipped the proverbial cap to the 80s and early 90s era Cleveland Cavaliers teams, featuring players like Mark Price, Craig Ehlo, Larry Nance and Brad Daugherty. We last saw the theme used on sample colorways of the LeBron 8 before James made the 'decision' to join friends Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami, but a new photo confirms that the look carried on to the next generation of the model as well.
The HWC LeBron 8 V/2 features an orange synthetic upper, white Swoosh branding and royal blue on the tongue, laces and Swoosh border. Below sits a white midsole, speckled full-length Max Air bag and blue and white outsole.
This pair obviously remained at the sample stage and never hit retail. One can't help but to think they would have been a hot seller. Would you have made it a point to pick up a pair?
