Jimmy Fallon isn't the only one of LeBron James' friends that was gifted the special edition "Trainwreck" Nike LeBron 12 Low.
Tonight, NBA TV personality Kristen Ledlow and NBA social media producer Jim Ice posted close-up shots of their own pairs, which come with a letter of appreciation from LeBron and Nike Basketball. The letter explains that the shoe is a celebration of LeBron's big screen debut and breaks down the inspiration behind the colorway.
The bright colors imitate the gold skirt outfit in the film’s opening sequence and the blue scrubs from the operation scene. An illustration of Bill Hader and Amy Schumer’s on-screen romance is printed on the right sock liner, while the left features words of wisdom from LeBron’s character. Lastly, the light blue outsole is a nod to the snow globe collection seen in the movie.
Unfortunately, if you’re not a family member or personal friend of LeBron’s chances of owning this pair are slim. However, these detailed shots serve as a decent consolation.
