Nike LeBron 11 Low // First Look
words // Zac Dubasik
Dating back to the second version of the LeBron VII Low, each and every low-top version of the LeBron line has shared a similar trait: a full-length Max Air bag. Even when the line moved away from the full-length Max Bag on the 9, and Max all together on the X, the lows stuck with the technology.
The design of the 11, with its hidden midsole, sure didn't appear to lend itself to a Max Air low-top edition, but as seen here in this first look, the team at Nike managed to do it again. While it only vaguely resembles the mid-cut edition of the 11, the Low once again feature full-length Max. The Swoosh has been moved from the midfoot to the toe, and an angular heel counter appears to be about the only design element tying to the original.
What do you think of the LeBron 11 Low? Are you happy to see it stick with the now-traditional Max Bag? Or would you like to see it better resemble the shoe it is a low-top version of?
