Of all the premier Nike signatures, the Black Mamba's Kobe 8 is the most fitting for the Year of the Snake with three impressive looks celebrating the Chinese New Year.
The Kobe Bryant signature line accounts for three of the seven Year of the Snake footwear releases unveiled today by Nike, introducing one limited edition on-court version and two Nike Sportswear designed lifestyle versions of the Kobe 8 System.
Kobe's on-court Year of the Snake kicks feature a red graphic printed Engineered Mesh build, topped with hits of white, silver and black to complete the celebratory colorway. Nike Sportswear's take on the Kobe 8 brings to life a Vac-Tech constructed version of the signature, covered in red suede, laser etching and purple accents. The Year of the Snake trio is completed with a black leather version of the Kobe 8, featuring a snake printed upper to represent the Black Mamba's aggressive style of play.
A limited edition "Year of the Black Mamba" Nike Destroyer Jacket will also be released as part of the Chinese New Year celebrations.
