Nike KD VI "Texas" Detailed Look

Take a closer look at the "Texas" KDVI.

Despite Kevin Durant only spending one year at Texas, he still has mad love for the University. Don’t believe us, then just think back to any KD shoe that went super heavy on the orange and white color scheme. For this latest nod to Durants alma mater, it is the Nike KD VI that serves as the base for this upcoming “Texas”-inspired release. Sporting a black upper, all of you sneakerheads will undoubtedly notice the touches of orange about the medial side, tongue, logos and outsole that really pop about the dark base. Throw in some tasteful splashes of green glow throughout the shoes low cut silhouette and you have a nice combination of both the academic and starry night side of Texas all rolled into one colorful offering. While the touches of Texas come as no surprise, this upcoming release is definitely the most eccentric iteration we have seen to date. Scheduled to arrive at retailers nationwide on October 10th, these kicks will surely attract a lot of eyes as they sit on the shelves. Now that you know when they will be dropping, how many of you sneakerheads plan on grabbing these kicks by the horns? Or will you let these mosey on by?
