Next month, Nike Basketball will pay tribute to Kevin Durant's home state of Maryland and its neighboring areas with the "DMV" KD V. Inspired by Maryland's state flag, the shoe features a Bright Crimson base, helped by Wolf Grey on the laces, heel counter and midsole. Volt pops off the lower eyelets, Swoosh logos and outsole to complete the look.

The "DMV" V is expected to hit retail on Saturday, December 15 for $115.

Why are these called dmv? These remind me nothing ofthe department of motor vehicles. Maybe because i dont want to get close to either one?
