Oregon wins again with its sneaker exclusives, this time on a Ducks Nike Air Huarache design that's never been seen before.

The model is very much like the Nike Air Huarache, but it brings more branding into the equation with Swooshes across the upper. The approach of putting Swooshes on the sneaker is actually kind of an ironic one given that Tinker's original unbranded Huarache design was a reaction to the density of check marks on Nike shoes at the time.

For now, this sneaker appears to be an exclusive for the Oregon Ducks track and field team. But, there's no doubt Oregon fans across the nation are hoping these Ducks Nike Huaraches release.

UPDATE 7/1: As explained by DJ Clark Kent, the Nike "Duckrache" was conceived and designed by Tinker Hatfield, with input from former Oregon track star and current Nike Sportswear developer Jason Humble. During his own stint with Oregon track and field in the 70's, Hatfield drew two Duck logos — one in white and one in black — that would eventually be used on the team's sweatsuits. For these exclusive Huaraches made for this year's track team, Hatfield brought his concept back using the modern Duck logo.
