Relative to retail on lots of other kicks, these are almost reasonable - the hand woven upper requires a good bit of time, and a set of hands devoted to the process, thereby increasing the cost. Anything predominantly hand made or put together costs more. Check what a hand sewn pair of raw denim costs.
