Nike Sportswear made plenty of noise last year with its various "Liquid Metal" releases that gave shiny makeovers to retro silhouettes.
It's cooled down on that treatment since, but it's still using metallic colorways here and there. This version of the NSW Free Hypervenom uses a silver upper that's not nearly as glossy as the pairs from the "Liquid Metal" sets. It's hard to imagine that a gold look wouldn't have made more sense, as Nike already released an all-gold version of the proper Hypervenom soccer boot.
