Nike Dunks as a 'Budget Bred' Alternative

For anyone tired of tracking down a pair of Air Jordan 1s

by Brendan Dunne

Purchasing a pair of the Air Jordan 1 'Bred' in any of its recent forms is going to be an expensive endeavor at this point.

Fortunately, Nike is fond enough of the combination that it continues to bring it over onto other silhouettes. And this time around they've done so with the Nike Dunk High, a shoe that looks an awful lot like the Air Jordan 1 anyway. The blocking is reasonably close to the "Banned/Bred" look and anybody that's not that knowledgable probably won't be able to tell the difference from a distance. Heck, maybe you can even take them to Flight Club and see if you can convince them to list them in the same $700 price range as the 2013 'Bred' Jordan 1. This pair is available now from Nikestore.
