Nike Blazer Mids Lose the Swoosh for "Metric" Upper

The Nike Blazer Mid borrows the "Metric" look from the Roshe Run.

by Brendan Dunne

Remember the Nike Roshe Run "Metric" from 2013 that had an all-over triangle look to it?

A couple years later, the Nike Blazer is taking cues from that shoe with this upcoming quickstrike release. The silhouette dons the same all-black colorway and even ends up more committed to the "Metric" look thanks to its erasing of the side-Swoosh. The Roshe in question hid that piece of branding by applying it in a shiny black print across the side, but this shoe completely loses it. This Nike Blazer "Metric" pair is available at retailers in Japan now, which means that Nike Sportswear stockists in the U.S. should have them in the coming weeks.
