Nike Air Tech Challenge Huarache 'Tour Yellow' - Back After 22 Years
words // Zack Schlemmer
Long dwelling in relative obscurity, Andre Agassi's Air Tech Challenge Huarache is back for the first time since its original release in 1992 in this "Tour Yellow" colorway.
We're not sure why Nike Sportswear stuck them on the wrong tooling (that of the Air Tech Challenge 3/4), but that shouldn't be enough of a mess-up for fans of Nike Tennis classics to not get excited about the return of the first Huarache tennis shoe in one of its OG colorways. The 'White/Black-Tour Yellow" Air Tech Challenge Huarache drops at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Packer Shoes this Saturday, January 11th for $120.
"I would wear if someone got them for me",
"I wait till they go on sale"
"This was just another shoe, nothing special. They won't sell and it'll go on clearance. It's not a particularly attractive shoe either."
"dont waste your money"
"There's a reason why they were gone for so long, they're ugly"
I love it! I want ya'll to fuckin sleep. More for me. Shout out to those who know whats up and will be copping for sure in the future.
Sidenote: If these were a retro jordan ya'll would be all on the shit...but thank god they weren't. Long live the Huarache.
