Were the Nike Air Classic BW to show up in this year's patch Air Max series, there's no doubt that the "Persian Violet" would have been the colorway honored.
While the sneaker didn't show up there, there have been remnants of its look elsewhere in the Nike Sportswear catalog. Recently the Nike Air Max 93 wore some persian violet, and now it's the Nike Air Stab that's doing the same. Again this pair uses the persian violet shade, but doesn't have the same distribution as its BW relative.
