Originally released around the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, the Nike Rejuven8 was designed to be worn by athletes off the field, helping the foot recover from strenuous athletic activity. The Rejuven8's injection-molded exterior cage minimized materials and weight while maximizing breathability and flexibility, not to mention giving it a distinct aesthetic. With design cues akin to the Presto and Huarache, the Rejuven8 soon gained a cult following in the sneaker market.
As the the Summer Olympics return this July, so too will the original Rejuven8, releasing in five Olympic-themed quickstrike colorways: red, navy, black, gold and silver.
The Nike Air Rejuven8 QS AP drops tomorrow, June 2, at select Nike Sportswear accounts.
