If watching Oklahoma City play in the NBA Finals wasn't painful enough for the Seattle Supersonics faithful, Nike Sportswear has released Scottie Pippen's debut signature model in a Sonics-inspired colorway.
You know the story by now; Pip was selected with the 5th Overall Pick by Seattle in the 1987 NBA Draft, only to have his rights shipped to Chicago in exchange for 0-time All-Star Olden Polynice. The rest is Six-Time Champion, double Olympic Gold history. Now, in celebration of this month's Draft, the Air Pippen has been included in Sportswear's "Draft Lottery Pack."
The "Sonics" Pippen features a white leather upper with Varsity Maize and Court Green accenting throughout. Though not pictured, each pair is lined with custom lottery ball insoles with Pippen's famous number '33' taking center stage.
Priced at $165, you can grab shoes from the Air Pippen today at House of Hoops.
