This year, Penny Hardaway's Nike signature line continued with the Lil' Penny Posite, a tribute to Penny's pint-sized companion from the classic marketing campaign. The model was released in six colorways throughout the spring and summer, but its run is over for the time being. With so many sneakerheads questioning whether or not we'd see an official new Penny sig, it looks like we have our answer today.
CNKicks shares these photos of what is being called the Nike Air Penny 6, decked out in black nubuck with a molded copper Foamposite wing. Features we can see include inner bootie construction, Dynamic Flywire support, jeweled Swoosh branding, visible Zoom cushioning and a partially translucent outsole with a throwback traction pattern.
While there isn't an official release date at the moment, CNKicks says we'll see this pair sometime in 2015. Nike is also releasing the Nike Air Pippen 6 next year.
