In the Boston Celtics' Christmas Day game against the Brooklyn Nets, Rajon Rondo set the sneaker world on fire when he debuted an eye-catching mint green colorway of the Nike Air Max Hyperposite. The shoe was thought to be a Rondo exclusive, but it looks like Nike heard your feedback and is prepping for a summer release.
Seen here in detail, the Rondo "Christmas" Hyperposite features a mint Foamposite base, helped by a 3M reflective grey midfoot with red and green splattered throughout. Crimson lines the interior, while grey works the laces and heel Swoosh branding. Below sits full-length Max Air cushioning and a translucent outsole.
This shoe is a bit different from the PE Rondo wore in December, but more or less follows the same scheme.
According to Long-7, the "Christmas" Hyperposite is heading to retail, possibly as early as July. Enjoy a detailed look at the shoe below and stick with Sole Collector for updates.
