A pair of Air Max 90s might get ex-convict Paul Johnson sent away for a very long time.

Bloody footprints featuring the sneaker's outsole pattern were found at the scene of the murder of 33-year-old Lisa Koziol-Ellis. Johnson, the accused killer, was seen on video making a purchase at a drugstore near the Elgin, Ill, home of Koziol-Ellis on the night that she was stabbed to death. In the video, captured on March 1, 2013, Johnson appears to be wearing Nike Air Max 90s.

The shoes were identified by Herbert Hedges, a semi-retired Nike employee that the company calls upon to testify in cases involving its sneakers.

Hedges played a role in identifying Aaron Hernandez's Air Jordan 11s during his recent murder trial.
