Following the photos seen earlier this week, today brings us our best look yet at the upcoming OG White/Red Air Max 1 VNTG by NSW.

Originated 25 years ago, Nike Sportswear is dressing the classic runner in a look that might have many of you thinking you've come up on a deadstock pair from '87. Mesh and distressed suede builds the traditional styled white/red-grey upper, while a vintage-finished Air Max 1 tooling sits below.

Look for the OG White/Red Air Max 1 VNTG to release next spring at select Nike Sportswear accounts.

Expected to release later this year, Nike Sportswear recently brought to life four vintage builds of the classic Air Max '87 runner.

any idea if shoe cleaners will get the yellow off? this is like buying pre-ripped jeans

Yeah, I hate the yellowed midsole. I saw a video on youtube where some guy used some cleaning product to take the yellow off a pair of AJKO midsoles. For me, I just wouldn't do that; I'm not sure how that would affect the integrity of the midsole. I don't plan on keeping any shoes deadstock for years, but I have a nice enough rotation that pairs can last me 4-5 years before showing any real wearing. So I wouldn't want to try to clean off the yellowing and have it fall apart in like 2 years on me.

I have to say I am very happy these are releasing in and vintage look. However I hope NIke will include a nike vintage or OG styled nike sneaker box.

Feeling the distressed suede and yellowed bottom. Might cop, I'd put the vintage infrared 90's above these on my list though.
Blue ones are better.
nice but pass...hate that fake vintage sole
