Tokyo retailer atmos provides new images of the Air Max 1 OG, the upcoming vintage-style release from Nike Sportswear. Featuring a Sail / University Red / Grey / Black colorway, the new Air Max 1 OG replicates an original pair of the classic runner with a distressed suede mudguard, yellowed midsole and "worn" outsole.

The Nike Air Max 1 OG will release this January at select Nike Sportswear retailers, including atmos.

Some people aren't looking for the "fresh out of the box" look. Some people like their kicks to look like they've been places and seen things, these shoes are for them. It's the same reason people buy pre-faded jeans with creases and tears.
