"Royal" 1s Are Back Courtesy of Nike Sportswear

The black and royal combination returns.

by Brendan Dunne

Nike has had no qualms as of late with lifting classic Air Jordan 1 looks and bringing them over to other "1" silhouettes.

The most recent example of this is the Nike Air Force 1 shown here. The shoe uses black and royal much in the same way that the Air Jordan 1 did way back in 1985. The Nike Air Force 1 isn't as similar to the Air Jordan 1 as say, the Dunk, so the overall shape isn't as close as it could be, but the overlap here is obvious.

There is no U.S. release date yet for this pair of "Royal" Nike Air Force 1 Mids, but the sneakers are already available overseas at atmos.
