Founded in 2011, Born This Way fosters a more accepting society, where differences are embraced and individuality is celebrated. The Foundation is dedicated to creating a safe community that helps connect young people with the skills and opportunities they need to build a kinder, braver world.
Nike and animation studio Laika have teamed up with Born This Way to auction off 80 pairs of the highly sought after "ParaNorman" Air Foamposite One. ParaNorman is a recently released movie about a boy with extraordinary powers that make him different from his peers. The underlying theme of the film is embracing our differences and becoming the people we were meant to be.
You can bid on a pair of "ParaNorman" Foamposites now over at ebay's Auction Cause, where sizes starting at 6.5 are being added gradually. 70% of the proceeds will go to Born This Way and their continued effort in helping young people feel safe in their communities and secure in themselves.
