Nike Air Foamposite One Camo Fighter Jet 575420-001 (1)

words // Brandon Richard

Continuing to explore the use of patterns on the upper of the Air Foamposite One, Nike Sportswear is set to introduce this "Fighter Jet" inspired colorway early next year. An assortment of grey, black and white tones make up the all-over camouflage print, while black does its usual job along the collar, inner lining, heel eyestay and vamp. Bright red works familiar and newer jet-like logos throughout, as well as the carbon fiber shank plate and tread on the translucent outsole.

There's still plenty to learn about these "Fighter Jet" Foams, but we can tell you that they are currently slated to drop on Saturday, February 9 for $220. We'll continue to keep you in the loop about this release and will provide updates if things change. In the meantime, let us know if you plan on picking up a pair or two.

I really think these are underrated by most people. Almost everyone is saying that these are ugly, cheap looking, trash, ect. I do not think that at all. Despite the fact that the foamposite line has had too many colorways and too many releases, this shoe is very unique from the others and features custom things that give character to the shoe, such as the lightning bolts, the "NO STEP" lettering, and other things. Coming from a town full of jets, I think this is really cool. Red and black was definitely the right choice for accent colors, and the camo is good. It would look better as black + dark grey camo, but it is fine. The only thing I don't understand are the icey soles. But, transparent soles are cool and they showcase the carbon fiber. It may be pricey, and a bit of an insult to the legacy of the foamposites, but it is definitely a unique must-cop shoe for me. Looking forward to getting these while everyone else sits at home missing out. (I am new to this and I am sharing my own opinion based on the other comments and research, do not hate). Thanks.
