Following the Chicago Bears' 27-19 victory over the New York Jets in a Monday night snoozer, Week 3 of the new NFL season is officially in the books.
The weekend was headlined by a Super Bowl rematch, which saw the Seattle Seahawks once again prevailing over the Denver Broncos. This time around, it was a bit more competitive, as last-minute heroics by Peyton Manning helped Denver force overtime in the rowdy CenturyLink. However, after winning the coin toss, Russell Wilson led an 80-yard scoring drive for the Seahawks that ensured Manning wouldn't get another shot. With the way things are looking, it's possible we may see this matchup again in February.
Also shining in Week 3 was Devin Hester, who broke Deion Sanders' record for the most kick return touchdowns in NFL history when he nabbed his 20th in the Atlanta Falcons' win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Thursday. Sanders, who was in the building to see the record fall, called his friend the greatest return man of all-time. It's hard to argue with that.
Hester made the historic return in the Nike Vapor Speed Low, which according to him, is on the way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. See what other cleats hit the field in Week 3 of NFL Watch.
