Today, New Balance reintroduces the CT300, the first heritage court shoe domestically manufactured at the brand’s Flimby factory.

Inspired by the original 80s silhouette, the shoe stays true to its retro styling, while upholding tradition with signature New Balance colors, white and navy. It was originally designed as part of a collection with the help of tennis greats Roy Emerson and Virginia Wade. While most tennis shoes at the time focused on outsole grip, the CT300 focused on fit, comfort, stability and durability.

The CT300 was uniquely developed with a gum rubber outsole within a polyurethane core and wall. Along with a lightweight breathable mesh upper, extended saddle and multiple widths, the model provided a great base to launch New Balance tennis in the 80s.
