The New Balance 998 is one of the many models included in NB's "Connoisseur Guitar" collection releasing this year.
The shoes themselves haven't been entirely upfront about their inspiration, but each one comes packaged with a pick to make things apparent just in case the color palettes and material selections don't. The sneaker uses a mixture of suede and mesh in tonal grey shades, a look that should be familiar to anyone who has been following New Balance for a while now.
