American Folklore has been the source of inspiration for New Balance's Made in USA 574 American Tall Tales Pack, including styles paying homage to Paul Bunyan, Babe the Blue Ox and John Henry. The latest addition to the pack takes on the likeness of Johnny Appleseed, an American icon famous for introducing the apple to large parts of northern America.
Soft deep red suede works the upper of the shoe, with a bright red used for mesh paneling on the toebox, tongue and collar. White works the upper eyelets, laces and "N" border, while a creamier off-white is used for the inner lining and midsole. Wrapping things up below is a gum rubber running outsole.
