Ever since the "Elite Edition" New Balance releases were introduced, the 1600 has tended more and more to show up at retail with that designation.
The shoe is back that form with this upcoming release, which has been titled the New Balance 1600 "Urban Sky." It's unclear if that nickname is one created by the shop stocking them, as no such name or pack has been mentioned yet in New Balance's press releases for its 2015 offerings. In typical Elite Edition fashion, the markings of that status are slim–only the tongue here makes any mention of the distinction.
This New Balance 1600 Elite Edition is available now at retailers like Feature in Las Vegas.
