New Balance Brings Back Its Most Expensive Retro

One of New Balance's most beloved pairs returns right on time.

The New Balance 1300 is returning to its JP form this year.

The retro is one that New Balance devotees could have seen coming, as the sneaker has been on a once every five years schedule for a while now. Given the premium build and Made in USA construction, this model is one of New Balance's most expensive in terms of lifestyle sneakers every time it comes around. For comparison: the 2010 New Balance 1300 JP sold for around $320 at many U.S. shops vs the $120 of the Made in USA 1300 from the same year.

There is no release date yet for the New Balance 1300 JP, but the good news is that the shoe likely will have a wider U.S. release for this iteration.
