The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, an adidas school, is about to get a NikeTown location courtesy of alum and NFL star Ndamukong Suh.
Omaha.com reports that Suh's company, TFL Development, will buy a portion of the university's Nebraska Bookstore location for $1.25 million and turn it into a Swoosh retail space. The university will retain about two thirds of the space for educational purposes.
UNL chancellor Harvey Perlman says that adidas is aware of the arrangement and that the university isn't in breach of its contract with the Nike store that's coming to campus.
