Since we missed last week's Nike Basketball NBA Sneaker Watch, today we will cover the best of the last two weeks in on-court Nike footwear. We covered all of the Christmas day kicks already, so this is the best of the rest. Our top story this week is Kobe Bryant's new PE colorways of his new Zoom Kobe 8 in white and purple versions.
Going back to 2011 models seemed to be a trend in the last two weeks, as we spotted several players in older models like Demarcus Cousins and Tyson Chandler opting for the Hyperdunk 2011, as well as Amir Johnson in the Huarache Trainer, which you may remember Amar'e Stoudemire hooping in most of last season.
The Air Flight One retro continues to flourish on NBA feet, as a number of players continue to wear multiple colorways of Penny Hardaway's classic model including Thaddeus Young of the 76ers in the "Chicago" colorway, and Jordan Hamilton of the Nuggets wearing the OG "Orlando" colorway. In other Penny sneaker news, Nick Young continues to impress with his sneaker selections, wearing the Air Penny II "Copper".
