It's time to take a look back at the past week's on-court Nike Basketball shoes from players around the NBA. The top story this week is the debut of a few new shoes, most importantly the Zoom Kobe 8. Kobe Bryant wore his new shoe all week, starting with a blacked-out pair on December 11th against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and then debuting the "Sulphur" colorway in Madison Square Garden. Other first sightings of models this week came from Andre Iguodala in the upcoming Hyperdunk 2012 Low and Shannon Brown in next year's Zoom Hyperchaos. Other notable selections from the current line of performance models includes Eastern Conference Player of the Week Paul George in a Pacers-gold pair of the Zoom Soldier 6 and Rudy Gay and Anthony Davis battling it out for the best Air Max Hyperposite PE. In retro news this week, we saw Nick Young dust off a pair of the Zoom Kobe 1 against the Lakers and the Mamba himself. "Swaggy P" also makes the headlines as one the players to rock their own iD version of the Zoom Flight Five, along with DeMarcus Cousins in a new black and purple colorway and Amir Johnson in a clean red and grey pair.
Instead of his usual Lunar Hypergamer Low PE, Deron Williams switched it up this past week with the Air Flight '89 retro and the Air Penny V "Orlando", which made appearances on a number of other players this week, as well. One more notable sneaker choice this week is Stephen Curry's. Curry, who has been ballin' as of late, took it back to the original Hyperfuse from 2010, in his PE colorway.
