NBA Sneaker Watch // Nike Basketball Weekly Recap - Week 16

A shortened week due to All Star Weekend didn't mean there wasn't plenty of great Nike Basketball shoes worn in last week's NBA action.  The top story from the half week of regular season games was LeBron James in his new red suede PE version of the LeBron X on Valentine's Day, which were good enough for their own post, but we also included a look at them here.  Kevin Durant also broke out a new PE last week, with a bright blue "splattered" colorway which we also got a better look at earlier.

Valentine's Day also gave players a chance to wear shoes varying from their usual team colorways, for example: most of the Los Angeles Lakers lacing up red shoes, like Kobe Bryant in the Year of the Snake Kobe 8.  Kevin Durant wore the pink-accented "Aunt Pearl" KD V, along with teammate Reggie Jackson in the 'Pearlized Pink' Foamposite One.

In other news, two Nike Basketball classics were dusted off this week with James Johnson of the Sacramento Kings wearing a pair of the Air Flightposite, and Michael Beasley breaking out a pair of the LeBron IV.
