You may not know that the Nike Sportswear team once had plans of seeing Kobe Bryant debut the Nike Air Yeezy 2 on court. The purple-based "Kobe" colorway? Part of those plans, possibly for Kobe to wear in last season's All-Star Game. Of course things never quite panned out, and with Gilbert Arenas out of the league, we've gone nine months without a single Yeezy 2 sighting on an NBA court. Nate Robinson decided to change that tonight.
When evaluating this season's "Sneaker Champ," Nate may be at the very top of that list, only strengthening his résumé tonight. Robinson laced up the Black/Solar Red colorway of Kanye's coveted Nike sig in the first half of night's game against the San Antonio Spurs. He'd later switch to the White/Red Air Jordan Retro 12.
Is this the best pair of kicks rocked on the court this season?
