Fresh off the heels of its latest collaboration with Concepts, Brooks Heritage is back with the second release of The Beast 1.
This time they have tapped mita sneakers for some input on the early '90s runner. This first mita x Brooks project is known as the "Enchantment" edition, featuring a fur-colored brown pigskin suede upper with contrasting pops of royal blue and gold on the heel and sole.
Original tech, such as the molded TPU heel counter and logo, air mesh vamp and quarter, pebbled leather detailing and compression molded EVA midsole are all still present on this retro. Each pair comes with two sets of custom printed sockliners, both donning images of thorns and fencing along with dual branding and a "Tokyo Custom Made" logo. An extra set of rope laces, hang tag and custom fur-printed box are also included.
Look out for the Brooks The Beast 1 "Enchantment" to launch at mita sneakers on Oct. 24, followed by a wider release on Oct. 31 at select Brooks Heritage retailers worldwide. Retail is set at $150.
