Not dead quite yet.

With the emergence of all-red, most sneaker companies have finally buried the "South Beach" colorway. But one prominent member of the Miami Heat organization would like to see it return. In fact, he's the owner.

Earlier tonight, Micky Arison took to Instagram to ask Heat fans if they'd like to see adidas produce alternate uniforms bearing teal and pink accents. Along with the photoshopped mock-up, Arison said he'd pass the word on to the league's current outfitter. Thus far, the response is mixed, but it seems like fans are generally in favor of giving the new/old look a shot.

Recently, Dwyane Wade and Li-Ning released the Way of Wade 3 Lite sneaker in teal and pink colorways. So while Nike and LeBron James may have moved on, the Heat still think there's some money in the scheme.
