Maya Moore has a reputation for being the biggest winner in women's basketball, and she showed exactly why in Game 3 of the WNBA Finals Friday night.
With the best-of-5 series between the Indiana Fever and Minnesota Lynx tied at 1, and Game 3 knotted at 77 with less than 2 seconds left to play, Maya did what she does. The former MVP caught an inbound pass at the top of the key, shook off a defender and coldly knocked down the game-winning three-pointer as time expired. The Lynx will look to capture their third championship in five years this Sunday in Indiana.
Making her brand proud, Maya went all-MJ in the "Year of the Goat" Air Jordan XX9, which happens to sync up nicely with the Lynx's uniforms. Hoop history is still being made in Air Jordans after all.
