Maurizio Molin x SUPRA Footwear Women's Collection
words // Brandon Richard
Supra Footwear announces the release of a footwear collection produced in collaboration with Venetian artist, designer and painter Maurizio Molin. The collection consists of the Vaider, Skytop and Wrap — all emblazoned with Molin's art.
"I design and I paint," Maurizio said, "and for me both are a creative expression. The best is when I have the opportunity to use my art on some great design or fashion products, like this project for SUPRA. The specific piece of art that I've made for this SUPRA collaboration is a blending of my pop colors with some fashion influences. We wanted to do something a little different than my usual geometric patterns and so, for the first time, I've used a snakeskin pattern."
All three styles feature Maurizio's rainbow snakeskin pattern printed on the interiors and exteriors. The looks are accented by pink hits, smooth grey nubuck, deep black suede or snake scale embossed iridescent suede.
The Maurizio Molin Women's Footwear Collection is available now at suprafootwear.com.
As soon as there are new Supras, Vans or whatever, everybody says "no thanks", "trash" or something. People vote "scrap" just because they don't feel a shoe. I really don't understand why people here feel the need of telling everybody that they don't like them.
