In today's Primera Division showdown between Barcelona and Atlético Madrid, soccer icon Leo Messi will be wearing a pair of fan-designed miadidas adizero F50 cleats.
Messi personally selected the winning design from a pool of fan entries submitted at miadidas.com. The personalized cleat features a Running White upper, black outsole and Vivid Red hits on the heel, tongue and 3-Stripes.
Other personalized elements include the Messi Icon logo, Argentinian flag, “Leo 10” and “Thiago” to honor his newborn son.
“I am happy with the miadidas boots and want to congratulate Javier on designing the winning ones that I will wear Sunday against Atlético Madrid," said Messi. "I also want to thank everyone who sent in their designs, they were all really good!”
