LeBron James and NIKEiD have asked a host of local heroes in northeast Ohio to design their own LeBron 12s.
Cleveland.com reports that 12 different designs by community members connected to LeBron or his LeBron James Family Foundation will be revealed over the next 12 days, and that LeBron himself will wear one of them in-game. The campaign from Nike shines the spotlight back on everyday heroes that contribute to communities, rather than the big-name athletes that the brand is used to highlighting. Nike is also encouraging people to make their own #iDYOURHERO designs on NIKEiD to pay tribute to personal heroes.
