After racking up 46 wins and in the midst of a 17-game winning streak, it would have been fair to assume that the Miami Heat were on the verge of being unbeatable. However, Miami ran into a familiar foe Sunday in the Indiana Pacers, who had won the two previous meetings by a combined 23 points. There's a strong possibility we'll see the teams meet in the playoffs, so LeBron James and the Heat were looking to send a message and extend the streak.
Continuing to show playoff form, the Heat looked every bit as good as their win streak suggests on Sunday. Miami jumped out to a 29-20 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. James put up a modest 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists as the Heat cruised to a 105-91 victory. The streak now stands at 18 games with Atlanta, Philadelphia, Milwaukee and Toronto up next.
In Sunday's game, James debuted a new PE colorway of the Nike LeBron X. The shoe sports a metallic pewter upper with red accents on the laces, Dynamic Flywire and Swoosh branding. What makes this pair even more interesting is the inclusion of "extraterrestrial" print throughout the upper and a galaxy-lined interior. James' number '6' appears on the medial tabs.
