Lance Dillon's Nike Dunk Low Doernbecher, first released in 2007, will return this month as part of the Doernbecher Freestyle project's 10th anniversary celebration.

Lance's excellent design features lasered graffiti graphics throughout the upper, with words like fight, warrior, power, the names of Lance's family members and the number of days he has undergone chemotherapy serving as motivation for his battle against acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Today, Lance is 24 years old with a degree in anthropology from Oregon State University. "Getting to work with the Nike staff and design my own shoe are things that I will always remember," said Dillon. "But the greatest part of it was knowing that it was helping other kids that were going through the same things that I went through."

Lance's Nike Dunk Low Doernbecher will re-release on August 31 at Nike retail locations and Nike.com. All proceeds will benefit the Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation.
