Even though he only played 11 games during his lone season with the Duke Blue Devils, the eventual #1 Draft Pick of the 2011 NBA Draft and explosive point guard already had sneaker brands lining up to sign him should he turn pro.

After deciding between exceptional pitches from both Under Armour and Nike, Irving eventually signed with the Swoosh, coincidentally landing in Cleveland just after LeBron's departure. This player exclusive pair of the LeBron 8 V/2 Low in Duke colors was made for Irving somewhere along the process to try and help sway his decision.

With a simple black Flywire upper, blue eyestay and accents throughout, the PE also features a "KI1" logo along the heel that we haven't seen since.
