Kim Jong-un Did a Spot Check at a Sneaker Factory (Seriously)

The supreme leader himself stops by a North Korean sneaker factory to inspect the goods.

Kim Jong-un's dictatorial duties apparently include making sure North Korea's sneaker game is on point.

According to The Daily Mail, the leader recently stopped by the Ryuwon Shoes Factory in Pyongyang to check out the production process. Sneaker companies in general don't source factories in North Korea, so the goods on display here likely don't have any overlap with the rotation of readers. On top of that footwear exports from the country are almost nonexistent, so most of these sneakers are probably more difficult to obtain than an average NikeLab release.

Hopefully a glimpse at Kim Jong-un's persona collection will follow this inside look at the North Korean sneaker scene.
