Who would have thought it was Tony Delk in Charles Barkley's Nike Air Max CB34 and Kendall Gill in Dennis Rodman's Air Shake NDESTRUKT? Two of 1996's best Nike basketball shoes are seen here in the Kicks On Cards Weekly Collection, but not on the feet of their official endorsers.
Next up is another card with multiple sneaker sightings. On this one we see more classics from 1996 (Although this card is conveniently "Game Dated" to let us know it was January 1997): Mitch Richmond in the Nike Air Maestro 96, presumably Scottie Pippen in his Bulls colorway of the Air Max Uptempo III, and if you look closely you'll catch a glimpse of Michael Jordan's Air Jordan XII. If you look really closely, it looks like somebody sitting courtside might be wearing the Air Jordan X!
Since there are so many shoes to take in on the first two cards, this week we'll finish out with two more for a total of four instead of the usual five. First is Reggie Miller on another classic Skybox card in the Nike Air Alpha Force II. The Alpha Force II is another shoe associated with Charles Barkley, but also not being worn by Chuck here. We end this week's collection with Sean Higgins, a member of the 1989 NCAA Champion Michigan Wolverines, in a pair of interesting K-Swiss basketball shoes.
