Mizuno is a shoe brand you'd expect to see on the baseball field or on a runner's foot, but in this edition of the Kicks on Cards Weekly collection, we see Mizuno on the basketball court on the feet of Dana Barros. Mizuno never made much impact on the hardwood, with the only other notable NBA to wear them being Spud Webb. As for baseball, this week we do see one of the coolest baseball cleats to ever hit the field, the Nike Diamond Fury worn here by David Justice. Made popular by Ken Griffey Jr. before his signature line began, the Diamond Fury was the boldest looking baseball cleat to ever round the bases, with an almost Reebok Kamikaze styled design. There was also a trainer version of the Nike Air Diamond Fury (please bring it back, Nike!), and we've recently seen a modified version of it in the Air Max Griffey Fury.
Next up is Michael Jordan in a shoe a few of you might be familiar with, the Air Jordan XI "Concord". We finish up this week's collection with two more Nike basketball classics, the Air Force High from 1993 worn by Scott Burrell and Gary Payton in the Air Go LWP.
