Mitch Richmond leads off this week's Kicks on Cards Collection, spotted in one of his rarely seen Air Jordan IX PE's. Just like Penny Hardaway's PE IX, Mitch's version features a similar look to the "Charcoal" colorway, but with royal blue accents instead of red. Of course, they would have also had his #2 at the heel. Mitch was among the first players ever (along with Penny, Latrell Sprewell and Kendall Gill) to receive PE Air Jordans, all of which are extremely hard to find now.
Next up is a shoe that makes its first appearance in the Kicks on Cards archives: the Nike Air Tenacity Low, worn here by Don MacLean. Long forgotten now, the Air Tenacity from 1994 was a cost-efficient model from the FORCE line most notably worn by Chris Mullin. Another forgotten mid-90's hoops shoe is next with Jamie Watson in the Reebok Triple Deuce from 1996.
Two 1995 Nike Basketball classics finish up the collection this week. First we have Jason Caffey at his rookie photo shoot in Chris Webber's Air Max CW, and none other than Dino Radja closes it out wearing the Air Wayup. What's your favorite sneaker sighting this week?
