For now, snagging a pair of adidas Yeezys is limited to those using the Confirmed app in New York City. However, there is an alternative, and meeting Kanye West at an airport is the starting point.

Paparazzi caught up with West and wife Kim Kardashian at JFK Airport this morning, the couple presumably arriving for New York Fashion Week and the long-awaited launch of West's adidas clothing line.

West, wearing his new adidas Yeezy 750 Boost sneaker, encountered a fan who happened to be wearing the red-based Nike Air Command Force.

“The time is coming. No more of those [points at the fan’s Nikes], you know that,” said West. “Which you would rather have? Which would you rather have between these and these?”

Clearly in the know, the fan responded, “Yours! Of Course!”

But it doesn’t stop there. West continued, “If I could give you these right now, would you throw those in the trash?” He then had his associate take down the young man’s information to hook him up with Yeezy 750 Boost sneakers.

West, who was actually in a pretty good mood, finished by telling the fan, “No more oppression.”

So, if you’re in NYC today, keep an eye out for a pair of Command Forces in a local dumpster.
