German designer Patrick Mohr seems to be alarmed at the similarities between his own K1X MK5 sneaker and the recently released Nike Blazer "Metric".
Mohr posted the below Instagram photo, which puts the two shoes next to each other to call out the similarities. While the two are close in their shiny, triangle-adorned uppers, the Patrick Mohr K1X MK5 released in October of last year and the Metric Blazer in February of this year, and that's probably too small of a turn around time for Nike to have actually copied the design in question.
That being said, Mohr has been doing these triangle style sneakers for a couple of years now with his MK series at K1X, so perhaps he does have some right to claim the approach
